Upgrade windows 8.1 pro with media center from windows 8.1 pro

Hi, welcome to my blog. Today I will show you how to upgrade windows 8.1 pro with media center from windows 8.1 pro. This tips will make your windows 8.1 pro with media center activated permanently as we activated windows 8.1 pro earlier.  To apply this tips you have to have activated windows 8.1 pro by Skype. If you don’t have activated windows 8.1 pro, just click here and follow the instruction. Ok. The method of upgrading is given below.

1.     Go to THIS PC > Properties  OR  control panel\system and security\system. Here you will see “Get more features with a new edition of Window” button. Click on it.

2.     Click on “I already have a product key” button.

3.     Enter a windows 8.1 pro media key and press “Next” button. Key will be given in the next post. So stay tuned with this blog for getting latest product key.

4.     Now, mark “Accept the license terms”. And press on “Add features”.

5.     Wait for your computer being restarted. After restarting, a dialog box will appear. Press on “Close” button.

Your computer has become upgraded to windows 8.1 pro with media center. Now you have to activate your windows by Skype. Don’t just follow me. It is as like as windows 8.1 RTM activation.

1.     Switch off your internet connection. Go to here and disable your internet connection.

               Control panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections.

2.     Right click on your start menu and go to Command Prompt (Admin).

3.     Write the given command below and press enter. Mak key will be given at the next post.

       Slmgr.vbs –ipk <Your_Mak_Key> and press ok.

4.     Again write “slui 4” in command prompt (Admin) and press enter. Click on next button and select United Kingdom as your country.

5.     Press next button. Now you will be given installation ID.

6.     Connect your internet and open Skype. Dial +448000188354 or +186643223012.

7.     Open the dial pad of Skype. Microsoft will ask you to press 1 as a home user.

8.     Now press # button. They will ask you to enter the installation ID. If you can enter the installation ID correctly, Microsoft will ask you how many computers you want to activate. Press 1.

9.     This time they will provide you a confirmation ID. Enter this ID properly and click on activate button. Your windows 8.1 pro with media center will be activated permanently. Keep you installation key, Id and confirmation id for future.

2.    Go to cmd and open it as administration.

3.    Write DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:d:\sources\sxs

Here Sorce:X means the place where the media dvd are.

4.    Press enter and wait for some times. .Net Framework will be installed automatically in windows 8.1.

Now we will see the system requirements and up gradation warning that have been said by microsoft for windows 8.1.

 System Requirements:

Windows 8.1 will work great on the device with the system requirements given below.

1.     Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster

2.     RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) (32-bit) or 2 GB (64-bit)

3.     Free hard disk space: 16 GB (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)

4.     Graphics card: Microsoft DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM driver

Additional requirements to use certain features:

1.     For 64-bit installations of Windows 8.1 Preview, your CPU must also support CMPXCHG16b, PrefetchW and LAHF/SAHF.

2.     To use touch, you need a tablet or a monitor that supports multitouch.

3.     To access the Windows Store and to download and run apps, you need an active Internet connection, a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768, and a Microsoftaccount.

4.     Internet access (ISP fees might apply).
